Sweets in Seville
Nineteen closing convents in Seville and the province of the province meet to present 290 varieties of sweets. These sweets are elaborated in an artisan way in the workshops of their convents and they are sold throughout the year in their lathes of these convents. In addition, these sweets can be ordered for celebrations or events.
Each post belongs to a religious order and has its charge that every year is the same, with the collaboration of more than 100 volunteers who admire the dedication and work of the religious.
18 years of exposure
The history of this Exhibition and Sale of Sweets of the Convents began in 1985 at the French Institute. Since then, it has been held in different places such as the Tomás Hall of the Archbishop’s Palace for the next 14 years, the Atrium of the Cathedral in 2000 and until this year in the Gothic Hall of the Reales Alcázares, where it comes of age .
