This charity race will take place on February 10, which will run along a river walk along the Guadalquivir River.
Another year, the University Hospitals Virgen Macarena and Virgen del Rocío together with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the Spanish Association for the effects of cancer treatment (AEetc) and the Food Bank of Seville organize this sporting event for raise funds for social programs.
7.5 km route
The race has a route of 7.5 kilometers along the river promenade that runs between the two University Hospitals Virgen Macarena and Virgen del Rocío.
The departure of the same will be at 11:00 hours from the Hospital Virgen Macarena and then continue by New Tournament, Tournament, Avda. Rey Juan Carlos I, Paseo Marqués de Contadero, Fluvial Walk of Las Delicias, Paseo Santiago Montoto, Glorieta de Mexico, avenue Moliní, avenue of Eritaña and avenue Manuel Siurot until the arrival at the Hospital Virgen del Rocío.
As in previous years, there are children’s tests with shorter distances so that the youngest can also participate. For children under 9 years, the journey will be 300 meters and those over 9 years will be 500 meters.
The main objective of the race is to promote healthy and caring habits among citizens.
After finishing the sports event, the corresponding prizes will be awarded at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital.
