VII Cycle of Historical Organs of Seville began on October 16 and will end on October 31. An itinerary of concerts of organs in emblematic places of the city will be offered during 15 days.
The cycle is called a sound heritage will offer sessions for all ages.
Programming the cycle of historical organs of Seville
The last days 16 and 18 October offered the first two concerts of the cycle. The first one was held in the Royal Monastery of San Clemente and the day 18 was held a concert of singing and organ in the convent of Maria of help.
For the next few days there are scheduled the following concerts:
Tuesday, October 20: child session for schoolchildren in the parish of San Lorenzo 10 to 12 hours.
Wednesday, October 21: Andrea Trovato organ concert in the parish of Santa Maria Magdalena at 9 o’clock.
Friday, October 23: Concerto for violin and organ in the parish church of San Isidoro at 9 o’clock. Francesco Giornetti will play the violin and the organ will be in charge of José Jesús Ciero.
Saturday, October 24: guided organ of the convent of Santa Maria of help from 10 to 11.30 hours and concert of cello and organ in the parish church of San Lorenzo at 9 o’clock. The cello will be played by Luiza Nancu and organ by Miguel Angel Garcia.
Friday 30 October: concert singing and organ in the parish church of San Isidoro at 9 o’clock. Baritone David Lagares performs the singing and the body will be in charge of Deniele Ferretti.
Saturday, October 31: Sackbut and concert organ in the parish church of San Lorenzo at 9 o’clock. Daniel Alberola will be in charge of the Sackbut and Miguel Ángel García playing the organ.
