The XXXIV Italica International Cross will be held January 17, 2016 at the archaeological site of Italica (Seville). The race is organized by the Dipotacion of Seville through the Department of culture and citizenship.
The race is included in the first category of the IIAF Cross Country Meeting. We played two tests: the Cross Italica Popular short with a tour of 3806 m away of cross-country and the long Popular Italica cross-country with a tour of 7.306 meters.
The Italica International Cross
The Italica International Cross is one of the most popular races in cross-country competitions. The tour of the Roman archaeological site of Italica give added value to the tour’s tests by the beauty of the place. The last edition counted with the participation of more than 3000 runners.
Tests are divided by categories and sexes and can register everyone which shows have brands of times minimum established by the Organization and who were born in 1996 or earlier.
There are four circuits established (A, B, C and D) with different distances for the realization of the races according to category and sex. The testing will be from 9:30 to 14:00: the short international Cross will begin at 9:30, the international long Cross at 12:20 and international tests fenenino and male they will begin 13:25-14:00 respectively.
