After twenty-three years, the Spanish football team will return to Seville on October 15, 2018. This time it will be to play the third match of the UEFA Nations League with the English team, which will take place at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.

It is a new international competition in which, in its previous phase, the 55 European teams divided into four leagues will participate to compete against teams of the same level. Spain will be in the A League and their rivals in the group stage will be England and Croatia.
The champions of each group will ascend while the last ones will descend. For their merits, the winners of the League A group (in which Spain will be) qualify for the final phase, where there will be four teams that will play the semifinals and the final.
