The Royal Herald will receive the keys of the city of Seville from January 4, 2016. Along with a retinue of Bedouins it will travel the streets of Seville to collect the letters to the three kings and will receive the keys to the city from the hands of the Mayor of Seville.
This year, the Royal Herald will be incarnated by Gregorio Cabeza Mendez. Economist, auditor of companies and businessman of the sector catering in Seville.

The Herald is a character that represents the Messenger of the Magi. Each year, from January 4 through the streets of Seville on horseback along with a retinue of Bedouins collect the letters to the Magi and are giving sweets and gifts to children.
Arriving at the Town Hall, the Mayor delivers the keys of the city to Herald symbolically authorizing the entry of the three kings in Seville.
The procession will leave the Ateneo de Sevilla environment at 17:30 and will do the following route: Villasís square, Cuna, Plaza de el Salvador, Alvarez Quintero, Manuel Cortina, Francisco Bruna, Plaza de San Francisco, Hernando Colón, German, Placentines, Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, Plaza del Triunfo, Fray Ceferino González, Avenida de la Constitución and Seville City Hall. Once you receive the keys of the city will next travel back to the Ateneo de Sevilla: Plaza Nueva, Mendez Nuñez, Plaza de la Magdalena, O’Donnell, campaign, Martín Villa, Orfila and make input to the Ateneo to 20:30 hours.
