From 5 to 8 April 2018 at the Cartuja Center Cite will take place the performances of the musical ‘El médico’.
The musical returns to Seville after its premiere on December 20. The musical show is based on the popular historical novel El Médico by Noah Gordon.
The best-seller written by the American Noah Gordon in 1986 was the beginning of the trilogy about the Cole family later completed with Chamán and Dr. Cole.

This first installment tells the story of Rob Cole, an English orphan who is refugee by a barber-healer who makes him an apprentice until his death. After this, and with a deep vocation and a gift to heal, he bumped into Benjamin Merlin a Jewish doctor who encourages him to overcome and make the dream of learning in medicine a reality speaking of the eminent doctor Avicenna and the school in which he teaches in Persia. A long road posing as a Jew to study in a place that does not admit Christians. During this period you will experience moments of struggle, difficulties, love and respect.
Performances will take place on the 5th and 6th of April at 8:30 p.m., on the 7th at 8:00 p.m. and on the 8 th at 7:00 p.m. The duration of the show is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
