The king´s Consort presents “The London of Williams Shakespeare” in the Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville on February 1.
The King´s Consort, founded in 1980 by Robert King, is one of the contemporary instrumental more important in the world. The King´s Consort Orchestra together with The Kin´s Consort Choir has performed in the main rooms of the five continents. This Orchestra, in his more than three decades, has represented a wide range of works in its repertoire from 1550 to the present. Notably their representations in the BBC Proms with “Coronation of King George II”, the “mass in b minor” and the “passion according to St. Matthew” by Bach, “ONN” by Handel in the theatre of the Champs Elysées in Paris and “The Indian Queen” by Purcell at the historic theatre in Schwetzingen in Germany, “The Fairy Queen” by Purcell in Spain and Britain, and the “Requiem” by Mozart at the Alhambra in Granada , among others.
The King´s Consort Orchestra has received many awards and accolades around the world for their recordings, reaching sold 1,500,000 copies.
The concert will be at the Lope de Vega Theatre on February 1 st 2017 at 8:30 in the afternoon. The price for input ranges between them 10 and 30 euros.
