The IV International Congress of Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage will be held from March 26 to 30, 2019 between the Pavilions of Uruguay and Peru of the Ibero-American Exhibition of Seville in 1929.
Seville is one of the oldest cities and that best preserves its historical legacy in southern Europe. Proof of this is that these pavilions are still in use although for another purpose since the Uruguay Pavilion is the seat of the University of Seville and the Pavilion of Peru houses the Andalusian headquarters of the National Research Council (CSIC) and the Science Museum of Seville.

The conference will deal with very important topics for the conservation of cultural heritage such as the development of new digital graphic instruments, materials and products; applications and cases about standardization and information management protocols; and risk assessment and monitoring of cultural heritage, among others.
An interdisciplinary and international forum, a special session and a high-quality scientific program to deal with all these aspects of cultural heritage from a different perspective will be organized as well as workshops, debates and parallel sessions. In addition, papers, posters and selected articles will be published among the participants.
The event also includes a program to visit the Alcazar, the Cathedral and Archivo de Indias, declared World Heritage Site. Attendance is also included lunch, gala dinner and two different tours.
