From April 27 to May 1, the city will host the festival ‘Sevilla es Puro Tango 2018’ promoted by teacher Alejandra Sabena.
‘Sevilla es Puro Tango 2018’
This event presented on April 12 in the Province House of the Council of Seville is held for the first time on an international basis which will make Seville the world headquarters of Argentine folklore for 5 days.
The festival will bring together international artists from countries such as the US, France, Italy, Norway, Turkey or Argentina among others.
The event has a double purpose. On the one hand, that the Sevillians know a little better the Tango (Intangible Heritage of Humanity) and on the other that the foreign visitors that come with the occasion of the festival can take advantage to know Seville.
The spaces chosen for the development of the event are Plaza de España, C.C. Plaza de Armas, the halls of the NH Collection Hotel and Sala Capitular Baja and Salón Cólon of the Town Hall.
In addition, the festival collaborates two NGOs with a fundamental work in integration: “ASAENES” dedicated to the care of children and young people with mental health problems and “Asociación IN” for the promotion of adapted sport in Andalusia.
