Joaquín Lora
Joaquín Lora is a Sevillian and a bull rancher who combines with another of his passions: painting. In recent years, he has become an expert in techniques such as oil, nib, watercolor and charcoal. The main protagonists of his paintings are the bull in the field, the fights between them, the own tasks with this animal and the men who are in charge of the bulls in the farms.
Although he has also done works that have nothing to do with bullfighting, he prefers to remain focused on the bull in the field, since that is what he has lived and lived since he was a child.
He has recently exhibited his extensive work in places such as the bullring of Las Ventas, in Madrid; the Hotel Palacio del Mar, in Santander; the Hotel Indautxu, in Bilbao and now the Taberna del Alabardero in Seville, whose exhibition will be open until January 14.
This exhibition consists of more than 20 paintings and can be visited for free between 08:30 and 23:00 hours.
