Metropol Parasol in the Mercado de la Encarnación, also known as Setas de Sevilla. It is located in the Plaza de la Encarnación and is the largest wooden structure in the world.
The project of this monument was developed by the architect Jürgen Mayer and managed by the construction company Sacyr.
The 5 levels of the Setas de Sevilla
1 – Archaeological Museum (Antiquarium), a Tourist Information Point and the Setas de Sevilla Official Store. The Antiquarium is divided into the Archaeological Walk, the Archaeological Zone and the Multipurpose Zone.
2 – The market and some restaurants. The Encarnación Market is one of the most modern in the world and offers all kinds of products.
3 – The square.
4 – Event area and a bar.
5 – Mirador 28.5 meters high. It can be visited every day of the week from 10:00 – 23: 00h
