From March 30th to April 2nd, dance in Seville with swing rythme
The first swing festival in Sevilla, Seville Swing !, was held in the spring of 2013, with the idea of combining live music with dance, reliving a time when these two artistic modalities went hand in hand Common movement that filled the clubs and dance halls back there in the 20s, 30s and 40s of the last century.
From the musicians of the Musical and Cultural Association Crazy People started the idea of this festival, conceived with the aim of boosting the swing scene of Seville. For some decades, this city has shown acceptance and a taste for jazz music, but it is in the last years when a series of musicians interested in rescuing and promoting the most original sounds emerged in the first decades of the twentieth century, the Known as the Age of Swing, and all styles associated with it (dixieland, manouche, etc.).
