The exhibition EcoAntha (Antarctic ecosystem and its inhabitants) is held in the Aquarium of Seville from 3 to 15 November 2015.
The aquarium in Seville along with the Association of scientific disclosure Drosophilia and research group biodiversity and ecology of marine invertebrates of the Facultad de Biología of the US to mark the week of the science of Andalusia.
Activities of ECOANTHA 2015
They are programmed different activities that are aimed to publicize the work of the scientists during thirteen Oceanographic expeditions in Antarctica. Images and other audiovisual works will be screened for them.
In addition, there will be four workshops that will take place during the tour of the Aquarium:
Workshop 1: Dynamics of the ice of Antarctica.
Workshop 2: microscopes will be used to show the drops of water from ice of Antarctica and its content of phytoplankton.
Workshop 3: water, their behaviour at different temperatures and densities.
Workshop 4: animals collected during the study’s scientists.
The workshops have a schedule from 11 to 13 h and from 17 to 19 hours.
