The Cathedral closes January with an increase of 22% of visits and the Alcázar with 30%
Visits to the Cathedral of Seville have been increased in the month of January compared to last year, has gone from 58,274 visitors in 2014, to 71,265 in the first month of 2015, ie an increase of 22%. Likewise, the Alcazar, closed last month with 59,541 visitors, compared to 45,596 visitors in January 2014, representing an increase of 30.50%.
Continued growth of tourism in Sevilla
This is because, according to data handled by the City Council, Seville airport has experienced a growth of 10%, this being the fastest growing in the month of January all airports in Spain.
These data indicate good health tourism in Seville, which will continue to grow thanks to the warm weather arrives accompanied also of the most important festivals of the city during the month of April.
