The opera Ali Baba and the forty thieves will take place at the Maestranza theatre on 28 and 29 December.
The Chamber Opera of Navarra (OCN) conclude 2017 in the Maestranza Theatre of Seville 2017 with the opera Alí Baba and the forty thieves.
The Opera will be performed on 28 and 29 December at 6 p. m., coinciding with the Christmas program of the theatre and the opera season.
The OCN, a national and international reference company, is in charge of this time versioning the tale belonging to the tales of The Thousand and One Nights.
ALI BABA AND THE FORTY LADRONS IN SEVILLE 2017
The story tells the adventure of Ali Baba, a poor lumberjack who casually discovers a treasure hidden in a cave guarded by child thieves and their feared boss. Ali Baba discovers the secret words to go in and out and takes home a part of the treasure. When thieves discover what the lumberjack has done, they will do their best to recover his treasure.
In the version produced by the OCN, the power of money, greed and selfishness is reflected upon, but in a very amusing way, based on a staging that reminds us of the world of magic and circus.
