55th Festival of Cante Jondo (flamenco) Antonio Mairena in Mairena del Alcor. From September 2nd to 12th, the 55th Festival of Cante Jondo will be held in Mairena del Alcor, this time as a memorial to José Menese, who passed away on July.
The founder of this festival, Antonio Mairena, joined with the priest of the town at that moment, thought of arising this event as a charity fundraiser on the score of the celebration of San Bartolomé and currently it has become a benchmark for those who enjoy classical flamenco.
